Exportadora Verfrut S.A. was formed in 1996 by owner/director Romano Vercellino.

Since then the company has grown in to one of Chile’s largest fruit production and processing companies supplying a wide range of markets and customers around the world.

All fruit exported by the company is produced on one of its 13 orchards located in the north/central, central and south/central regions of Chile.
With over 3100 hectares under production, Verfrut produces and packs some 6 million boxes of Table Grapes, Apples, Pears, Stonefruit, Kiwifruit and Citrus.
This fruit is packed in one of four state-of-the-art processing plants thereby ensuring the most efficient, effective management of supply programmes and the maintenance of rigorous quality control standards.

Production Areas.

1. Combarbalá : located in the IV Region has 2 orchards in this area that produces about 300.000 boxes of grapes which will grow in volume next season once the new plantations come in production.

2. Región Metropolitana: Verfrut S.A. has 3 orchards in this area that produces grapes and stonefruit of different kinds and varieties.

3. Cachapoal: Located in VI Region the largest area of fruit production in Chile. Verfrut S.A. has 4 large orchards in this area. . Verfrut has also 2 processing plants in the VI Region. Its main packing facility is located in the Rapel valley  and it is fully equipped with a storage capacity for over 5000 pallets , 20 tunnels of precooling grapes ,3 fumigation chambers, 2 hidrocoolers for stonefruit and 6 chambers of controlled atmosphere.

4. Longavi: Verfrut S.A. has 5 orchards of production with more than 700 hectare of planted pommes plus a processing plant in this area. Verfrut S.A. produces in this zone a great variety of apples, including Royal Gala, Fuji ,Granny Smith, Brookfield resides a great volume of red apples and Asian Pears.
